Solar power for your home
Installing solar power for your home is an easy way to reduce your energy bills and increase the value of your property.
How does solar power work?
Benefits of using solar power
- Less dependency on the national energy grid (which is vital as power prices continue to increase by around 5% a year)
- Save up to 80% per year on your power bills
- Significantly reduce the carbon footprint of your property
- Keep your systems running during power outages by adding batteries to your system and maximising your system’s storage capacity
- Generate approximately 10% ROI on your solar power system
- Increase the overall value of your property
- Power your home using clean energy
- Build up energy credits while you’re away
We get it – introducing a new system brings about questions and possibly a bit of hesitancy.
We’re here to answer any questions you have. We’re more than happy to sit down and look at the specifics for your particular property – how much energy you use and how introducing solar energy to your property would reduce your power bills.
We pride ourselves on being educators, not salespeople.
Brands we supply
We are proud to supply and install brands of solar panels and systems that are innovative, reliable and made by companies that share our ethical work standards.
Everything we supply and install can be traced back to companies with extensive ESG strategies – organisations that are trying to rid the mining and manufacturing sectors of child labour and slavery.
Because all of the products we supply and install come with a 25 year warranty, there’s no need to worry about parts wearing out and ending up in landfill.
We work with Enphase, SunPower and Schletter because of their superior quality, the suitability of their products for the New Zealand environment, and their ethical production and labour practices.
Most Enphase products are designed and tested in Christchurch, NZ. So while they’re an American company, their New Zealand lab employs 120 engineers. The product is exceptional, with flexible and scalable microinverters that ensure continuous solar production with no single point of failure.
Established in 1985 in Silicon Valley, SunPower has been developing and refining solar panels and systems for decades. They now produce some of the highest performing panels on the market.
German engineered solar mounting systems from a company that has been around since 1968. Schletter aluminium is mined in Australia to ensure they are not enabling any modern slavery practices.
